During a bus ride I was phased by an empty can that was rolling back and forward in the aisle. Every movement of the bus was in a abstract way translated to the can. Fascinated by this scene, I could have been looking at it for hours. Unfortunately someone threw the can away, and from that moment I realized that not everyone saw the beauty in what was happening.
In a clean and aesthetic way, I had to show them what they’ve missed. By creating a moving sculpture that mimics the movement of the bus, I was able to create ones more the beauty of a rolling can.
wood, acylic, steel, can.
